Highlights from our May 2020 Retail Traffic report: Although May saw a deep year-over-year decline in store traffic, it represented an improvement from April as many states began to lift coronavirus-led lockdowns. Nonessential retailers have been severely impacted by Covid-19 store closures—with the apparel sector experiencing the largest traffic decline.
